How To Place An Order:
To place an order with us online, just follow these simple steps:  
1) Click "Order Now" on the item(s) you would like, and when you are taken to the "Shopping Cart" page, either click
"
Keep Shopping" to return to the website and purchase additional items, or click "Check Out" to go to the Check Out
process.   (To increase the quantity of a particular item, simply enter the quantity desired in the "Quantity" field, and
click "
Update Quantity")
2) When you have finished shopping, and you are viewing your "Shopping Cart" page, click the "Check Out" button.
3) During checkout, you will be asked for your shipping information first.  After entering all shipping information, and
choosing the correct shipping method(see below for more information), click "
Continue" near the bottom of the page.  
4) Next you will be taken to the billing page. Select the correct card type from the drop-down menu, and enter all
appropriate information in the appropriate fields.  If the billing address for your card is different from you shipping
address, please check "Other" in the billing address field, and enter the correct information.
(If you will be paying
using PayPal, check the button corresponding with PayPal, enter your email address in the correct field, and then
follow all on-screen instructions to finish the checkout process).
5)
Next, enter your email address and then click "Continue" near the bottom of the page.
6 )You will be then taken to an order review page.  Please review your order carefully and make sure all the
information that you have entered is correct.  To finish placing your order, click "
Send Order" near the bottom of the
order review page.  We will receive your order and will begin to process it.  Most orders placed before 2:00 p.m. EST
will be shipped the same day

7) When your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipment status email letting your know that your order has
been shipped.  The email will also include a tracking number for your package if your order is being shipped via  UPS
Ground(See below for more information on shipping rules and methods).
Our Policy Regarding Back-Orders - Important, Please Read!
Occasionally, when an order is placed, all of the goods which a customer has selected may not be immediately
available.  In such cases, the unavailable goods may be
back-ordered.  We proceed to ship the available items
which the customer has selected, and we attempt to acquire the unavailable goods.  We also include a note in the
customer's package detailing the situation and an estimated time of arrival for the back-ordered goods(if an
estimated time is immediately known).  If, after some time, we are not able to acquire  the back-ordered goods, we
will refund the customer for the price of the goods that we were not able to deliver.  In some cases where a
customer's selected goods are unavailable, we simply refund the customer immediately, without exercising a
back-order situation.

Schedule Of Shipping Charges:
We currently ship via two shipping carriers; UPS & USPS.  With UPS, we offer several different services: Ground,
Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, and 3 Day Select.  Via the United States Postal Service, we ship via Parcel Post(see
below for more information).  The method we use to ship depends upon the location you desire us to ship to
(Please read below for more information concerning choosing the correct shipping method), and how soon you
want your package.

UPS Rates -
Our systems are set up to automatically determine the cost of shipping for all orders shipped via UPS.  When you
place your order, UPS will automatically determine the cost of shipping from us to you, and that amount will be
added to your sub-total. Prices vary depending upon your location, the weight of the package, and which service you
choose.  Ground is the most inexpensive and, from our shipping experience, we have found that most Ground
packages will range from $6.00 - $10.00.  You can compare the fees and estimated delivery times associated with
each of the different services while you are checking out.  On the Shipping information page, enter all of your
shipping information.  Select one of the UPS services provided and select the "Apply" button.  A box should appear
at the bottom of the screen detailing a schedule of fees and estimated delivery times for the different services.  You
may either keep the service you have selected or you may select a different option from the drop-down menu.  
Select the "Continue" button at the bottom of the screen to proceed to the Billing Information Page.
USPS Rates -
We use the United States Postal Service for shipments going to P. O. Boxes and military APO/FPO addresses.
Rates for packages being delivered to P. O. Boxes within the 48 Continental U. S. & to Military addresses -
To these addresses, we ship USPS Parcel Post
Our USPS Parcel Post Charges are divided into two sections, as described below:
For orders up to $20.00 - A shipping & handling charge of $9.45 will be added to your sub-total.
For orders of $20.01 or more - A shipping & handling charge of $11.45 will be added to your sub-total

Choosing The Correct Shipping Method:

Please Note. New Shipping Guidelines!:  When selecting shipping options on the order checkout screen, please
follow the simple guidelines below so that we may accurately process and ship your order:

1) If you live within the 48 continental United States, and you want your package delivered to a non-P.O. box
address
(business or residential), please choose one of the UPS Services provided for your shipping method.  We
currently offer:  
Ground, 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, & Next Day Air.

If you live in the 48 Continental United States and you would like your package delivered to a P.O. Box, please
choose the option that states "
USPS Parcel Post - P.O. Boxes & Military Mail Only!".  UPS Can Not Deliver to a P.
O. Box!
 Please do not enter your home address in the shipping address field when you choose to have your
package delivered to a P. O. Box
.  When this happens, we get confused on how to deliver your package and we
must delay the shipping of your order until we are able to contact you and receive correct shipping information.  Only
enter your name, P. O. Box number, city, state, zip code, and contact phone number in the shipping fields if you
would like your package delivered to a P. O. Box.  

3)If you are in the military and need your package delivered to a APO or FPO address, please choose the shipping
option that states
"USPS Parcel Post - P.O. Boxes & Military Mail Only!". Please include your full name, unit
designation, and APO/FPO zip code. In the
"Street Address" field, simply include the unit designation. If you have a
specific box number, please include the box number in the
"Street Address 2" field. In the "City" field, please
indicate "APO" or "FPO". In the
"State" field, please select the correct APO/FPO designation(i.e. AA APO, AE APO,
etc). Finally, in the
"Zip Code" field, please include the APO/FPO zip code. If you have any problems placing your
order, give us a call or email us so that we may assist you.

If these guidelines are not followed, you may receive an error when trying to place your order.   If you have any
questions about our shipping policies, or if you have any problems placing your order online, you may reach us

Shipment Delivery Times - Important!:
When placing your order, you will be presented with different shipping options.  This information is designed to give
you a better understanding as to when you may expect to receive your order.  
In most cases, orders placed
on a business day before 2:00PM EST will be shipped the same day.  However,
some orders are not shipped the same day, but most orders are
usually shipped out within 2 business days after
placing the order.  When your order is shipped out, you will receive a shipment status email informing you of
this(you will also receive a tracking number if you chose one of the UPS Shipping Options).
For customers who choose one of the UPS shipping methods, at checkout our system will give you an
estimated
delivery time depending upon the method you chose.  This is an
estimate, and is dependent upon us shipping the
package out the same day.  While most of the orders we receive before 2:00PM EST are shipped out the same day,
some are not.  This is particularly important to note for those who choose a
premium shipping method(Such as 3
Day Select, 2nd Day Air, or Next Day Air).

times, but it is our effort to give you a good idea as to when you can expect to receive your package.

UPS Service shipments will receive a tracking number that will provide shipment status and estimated delivery time
USPS Parcel Post has a normal delivery time of 2-6 business days.
Military Mail has no guaranteed delivery time
Special Shipping options
If you would like your package shipped with special requirements(Evening Delivery, Signature Required, Appointed
Day Delivery, etc.), please call your order in, as you will be charged extra for these services.  We try our best to keep
the cost of shipping as low as possible, and in order to avoid raising shipping costs on a full scale, we must apply
the actual cost of special shipping charges to your order, in addition to the standard shipping costs applied to your
order(See Above for information on shipping costs).

the online order process, you agree to the terms and conditions stated here.
Credit Card Orders
The name on the credit card must match the name on your account. Your address must match the
billing address of your credit card. If shipping address is not the same as billing address, enter the
information for both the billing address and ship to address when checking out.

Damaged Shipments
All packages leave our warehouse in good condition. If you receive a damaged package from the
carrier, do not accept it. Get a claim number from the carrier. Once the package is delivered from us to
the carrier, the responsibility for the package belongs to the carrier.

Returns and Refunds
Unless there is a shipping error on our part, shea butter, lotions, body washes, and body oils are not
returnable. The reason for this policy is to prevent contamination by outside sources. All other
merchandise must be returned within 7 days of receipt for exchange only. You must first receive a
return authorization. To do this, please email us at
info@sheabutterhut.com. Return items must be
accompanied by a copy of the original invoice listing the items returned. Returned items must be in
saleable condition or they will not be accepted. Unless due to an error on our part, there will be a 20%
restocking fee to cover cost of handling associated with the return. We do not issue refunds.  Returns
can be used for store credit only.

any secondary products or the results of its use in any secondary products.
